Maps of the area in and around the proposed Sand Mine

Historical Sink Hole Map

Yellow area is the proposed Sand Mine

This shows the close proximity to Equestrian Residential properties that will suffer greatly from this Proposed Sand Mine.

This Map shows that the Flood Hazard Area Information on file makes this property subject to flooding

This Boundary Map shows the actual mining area within the black outline. In order to recover 4.5 million cubic yards of sand this would create a 18.6 foot deep 150 acre hole in an extremely sensitive environmental area.

This Map shows the proposed Sand Mine would change the zoning to Industrial/Extractive in the middle of a Rural Residential Zoning District

This map shows that there are 3 wetland areas within the proposed Sand Mine

Drilling Location Map

150 acres will be mined for 4.5 million cubic yards of sand.  Average depth across the 150 acres will be 16.6 feet deep. This Drilling map shows the results of 14 bore holes looking for "Apparent Depth to Water". Of the 14 bore holes, 12 discovered water. The average depth was only 15 feet.

Summary:   Average Depth to water is 3.6 feet higher than the average 18.6 feet depth of the mine.
